Be Brave Enough to Suck at Something New

I admittedly dive headfirst into things I am gifted at. Mostly creative things, some athletic.

I’m a big believer that we should use our God-given talents to create a more purposeful life.

I don’t have the impulse to try/attempt new things.

I remember when I was a little girl and my mother tried to drag me to a gymnastics class. I won. We didn’t go.

Even at the age of 5, I knew my limits. I also feared public humiliation. In turn, I could never do a cartwheel. Still can’t.
