Day 2: Why I’m Starting a Daily Writing Habit

I recently signed up for Dickie Bush & Nicolas Cole’s cohort-based course, Ship 30 for 30.

Here are a few reasons why:

  1. “Tomorrow” seems to be my favorite word. If I did all the things that I put off until “tomorrow”, I’d be busy until ten years after my last breath. I am letting go of procrastination by committing to a daily writing habit.
  2. Writing is my happy space. It’s how I work things out for my emotional health and it is my favorite form of communication. I’m not a public speaker or a podcast host (at least, not yet) but writing is where I am able to articulate most clearly.
  3. By sticking to this daily routine, I’d like to stack other habits. And even better, my hope is to refine my craft, zero in on my voice, and get dialed into a community that will keep me challenged and accountable even past 30 days.

But during this 30-day cohort, I plan on writing about flourishing in life, entrepreneurship, and yup, writing.

Join me on this adventure — and let me know if you have any questions along the way!

I’m excited to start sharing what I know online.
