Originally, I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2020 on a whim, it was after the pandemic, and my position as a sales and marketing director at two hotels suddenly dried up, as they say.
I thought I’d be a virtual assistant. Then I quickly niched down to social media because I like doing it and have done it for free for years. And I was good at it.
As time played on, I fell back on my writing skills — that was between working with clients doing public relations and marketing.
In those times, I made a major mistake. My focus shifted away from the needs of my clients, and I became so obsessed with writing that I started to move away from my paying clients. Yeah, I did that.
As a result, I lost some income. But I quickly learned a valuable lesson: to stay adaptable and to go where the market needs me.
I regained momentum quickly and found many writing clients I love working with. I focus on writing and design these days. And I love it.
